Vincent J.Talarico,
Jr. 59, a longtime teacher for Brewster High School in New York,died
Tuesday July,1,1997,at New Milford Hospital.
He was the husband of Sally A.Talarico,and had lived in New Milford.
Mr. Talarico was born in Danbury on Feb.23,1938, a son of Genevieve
Talarico and the late Vincent J.Talarico.
He graduated from Danbury High School in the Class of 1955, and
graduated with a bachelor's degree from Western Connecticut State
University in Danbury,and a master's degree in geography from
Clark University.
He was the original chairman of the New Milford Youth Commission,which
was formed in 1977,and later became the Youth Agency.
Mr. Talarico was a self-proclaimed hot pepper expert who cultivated
many varieties of peppers and communicated with hot pepper enthusiasts
around the world via the Internet.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter,Donna
Talarico; two sons, James Talarico and Lucas Talarico; a sister,
Jeanne Kennen;a granddaughter, Gabrielle Passarelli; and several
nieces and nephews.
