Ruth
E. (Trister) Kanter, 70
of
Edina, Minn. and Boca Raton, Fla., died peacefully, Monday, December
31, 2007. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Toby Trister.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Gerald; admiring
children, Hillary and Dan Feder, Harvey and Robin Kanter and
Marcy and Bill Oelhafen; cherished grandchildren, Joel, Hannah,
Alex, Zach, Spencer, and Maddie; sister, Anne Trister; sister
and brother in-law, Marion and Robert Heimberg; sister in-law
and brother-in-law, Gail and Carl Kanter. Ruth treasured family
above all else and is best remembered for her caring and heartfelt
ways. She was an inspiration to all who were around for the courage,
strength, determination and perseverance with which she lived
her life. Funeral services will be held in Minnesota. Memorials
preferred to Adath Jeshurun Congregation Caring Community Fund,
