Ronald " Dub" Clark

 

 Ronald A. " Dub" Clark, age 73 of Danbury, beloved husband of the late Barbara (Cook) Clark, passed away at Danbury Hospital, on Sunday, October 17, 2010, after a brief illness. Ron was born in Danbury, son of the late Irving and Mary (Zanzal) Clark. He graduated fromDanbury High School and had worked as a mail carrier for the Post Office for many years. After his postal career, he went on to work in the Tax Assessors Office at Danbury City Hall and then went to work for the Putnam Automotive and Putnam Storage Companies. He was a long time member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the Amerigo Vespucci Lodge and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved working in his yard and on Wednesday's he would have "Dubba Day" with his grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Nero and husband, Ralph and Cheryl DiMauro and husband, Stephen, both of Danbury; a brother, Richard Clark of Danbury; and four grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Nero and Christopher and Kristin DiMauro. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Ashley DiMauro and a brother, Raymond Clark.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 46 Stone St., Danbury, CT 06810.
