Marlene Underhill Marlene Underhill, of Danbury, wife of the late Robert Q. Underhill, Sr., passed away at her home Thursday, April 9, 2009. Marlene was born in Danbury, daughter of the late George and Hazel (Sherman) Anderson. She attended Danbury Schools and worked in sales for the Sears Department Store for many years. She was a member of the Danbury and Bethel Seniors and had served as a volunteer at the Danbury Hospital gift shop. Her greatest passions were her friends, family and artwork. She is survived by two sons, Robert Q. Underhill, Jr. and wife, Karen of Brookfield and Frederick G. Underhill, Sr. of Danbury; a daughter, Holly Troccolla and husband, David Troccolla, Sr., of Newtown; a brother, Wilbur Lane of Florida; seven grandchildren, Frederick G. Underhill, Jr., Nicole Underhill, Lindsay Underhill, Robert Q. Underhill, III, David M. Troccolla, Jr., Jessica L. Troccolla and Cortney F. Troccolla; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Clark Anderson and sister, Shirley Dangard. Funeral services will be held in the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, Thursday at 11 a.m. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
