August "Gus" Tozzi of Mills River, NC, formerly of Brookfield, passed away on Monday December 8, 2014 after a long illness. Gus was born on March 10, 1937 in the Bronx, NY and moved to Brookfield in 1945. Gus graduated from Danbury High School in 1955 and was a long time employee of Kimberly Clark Corporation in New Milford. He leaves behind his loving wife Dee, his brothers Howard Stoodley and Art Tozzi, his sister Amy Tozzi, his three children A.J. (Karen), Steve (Linda) and Sara Chambers, and step-children Sherri (Dale), Philip (Brittany), and Rodney. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements and a book of remembrance are under the direction of Garrett Funeral Home, Waynesville, NC.
