of 18 Ridge Drive, died Tuesday afternoon (1966) at his home after a short illness.
Born in Bridgeport, Dec.11,1937, he was the son of Dr.Eugene  and Marian (O'Shea)
Brochu.
He received his early education at St.Joseph's School,Canterbury School in New Milford, and graduated from Danbury High School in the Class of 1955. He attended the University of Villanova in Pennsylvania where he was a member of the Villanova Singers, musical director of the WVIL, and a member of Belle Masque.
He graduated from Villanova in 1959 and joined the U.S.Air Force,serving as first lieutenant. After his discharge from the Air Force, he worked for the British West India Airway in Miami,Florida.
Besides his parents, he leaves two brothers, Robert J.Brochu of Anaheim,Ca.,and Richard Brochu,of Danbury and a nephew, Robert J.Jr.,also of Anaheim.
The funeral will take place Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the Green Funeral Home,57 Main St.,and at St.Joseph's Church at 10,for a solemn mass of requiem.
Burial will be in the family plot in St.Peter's Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
