Robert F. Morlock, 63

husband of Jean (Chelso) Morlock, of Obtuse Hill Rd., Brookfield, died at his home on Sunday morning.
He was born in Danbury, August 11, 1937, son of the late William E. Morlock and Helen (Goels) Morlock. He was a graduate of Danbury High School, class 1955 where he had been actively involved with sports. After high school, Bob served in the U.S. Army and when he returned to Brookfield,  he founded the Robert F. Morlock Construction Co. of Brookfield, which he operated until the time of his retirement in 1955.
Bob was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast; he loved gardening and his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Morlock of Redding, and Michael Morlock of Brookfield; a daughter, Patricia Scozzafava of New Milford; two brothers, William M. Morlock of Ridgefield, and Frederick A. Morlock, of Brookfield; four grandchildren, Thomas Scozzafava, Meredith Scozzafava, Courtney Morlock and Michael Morlock, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Edward Morlock.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St.Joseph 's Church, Brookfield, on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St.Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
